Post #2 E-portfolio Peer Review

Imagine you are an employer looking at job candidate's e-portfolios as part of their application for a position in your office.  As an employer you are trying to determine whether they are a qualified and worthy candidate?

This week's second blog comment requires you to review the presentations of two peers.  Identify the two student's e-portfolios you are reviewing.  Respond to all questions using complete sentences with explanations or comments.

  1. Do all the features and links work properly?  If not which ones?
  2. Do you feel that all assignments are completed proficiently?  
  3. Are all reflections completed adequately? 
  4. Are you impressed with the look of the e-portfolio?
  5. Does this e-portfolio show they have acquired skills sufficiently
  6. How would you add, remove, or edit to make improvements?

This week's first blog comment requires you to describe your experience using Impatica for PowerPoint by discussing using the following criteria.  Feel free to read classmates posts and comment.

  1. Describe in complete sentences at least three factors that make it a useful tool for both instruction and assessment.  Would you use it again or recommend it to someone else?
  2. Identify the two devices you used to view the presentations.  Be sure to list Make, Model, Operating Platform, Speed, etc. of the device.
  3. Describe in a paragraph how viewing on the two devices differed using criteria such as speed, readability, functionality, and which you preferred.
